This refers to the body’s ability to balance and manage the activity of the autonomic nervous system (ANS), which has two main branches:
- Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) – Activates the “fight or flight” response, preparing the body for action.
- Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS) – Supports the “rest and digest” state, promoting relaxation, recovery, and healing.

Nervous System Regulation Guidance
We take a holistic approach to your well-being. Nervous system regulation involves understanding you as a whole—including your current stressors—and equipping you with tools to manage stress effectively.
These tools include breathwork, somatic exercises (to help you connect with your body and emotions), meditation, mindfulness, and more. While this is not psychotherapy, it serves as a bridge between psychotherapy and physical therapy.
