Functional Exercise

What Is It?

We focus on improving an individual’s ability to perform everyday activities and tasks. This type of exercise training aims to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and endurance in a way that directly translates to improved function in daily life.

We assess your specific needs, goals, and limitations, and then design a tailored exercise program to address those areas. This may involve a combination of strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility exercises, and balance drills, all geared towards helping you move more efficiently and confidently in their daily activities.

This is ideal for
  • New parents who are experiencing increased pain due to frequent one sided activities (ie holding a 15# baby on one side)
  • Grandparents who are looking to stay more active with their grandkids (ie getting up/down off the ground easier)
  • Those playing a sport that requires repeated one sided movement (ie tennis, golf)
